Being Irish i wanted more then the standard Crucifix, so I was looking for a Celtic Cross. I looked at other Celtic crosses for men and this one stood out for me. I love the open design of Celtic knots in addition to the center blue star sapphire. In addition, I also liked the the 3 dimensional design versus the plain Celtic Crosses I had seen. Once I received it I realized the pictures and description did not do it justice. It has a substantial weight and size with a perfect open design work of Celtic knots
